Questions

Is it really free?+

Yes. No tier, no trial, no card. No ads either, and your log is never sold or shared.

Where do the food numbers come from?+

USDA FoodData Central for common foods, Open Food Facts for packaged ones. The latter is crowd-sourced — treat a branded entry as a solid guess, not a lab result.

Can I get my data out?+

Any time, as JSON, from Goals → Your data. Import it back just as easily.

Do I have to weigh my food?+

No. Most foods carry portions — one breast, one slice, one tbsp. Grams when you care, servings when you don’t.

Is the calorie target accurate?+

It’s a well-validated starting point, not a measurement of you. Two people with identical stats can differ by hundreds of calories. Watch the scale for a few weeks, then adjust.
