Privacy

The short version: your log is yours, it is not shared with anyone, and you can have it deleted whenever you like. Questions go to support@easymacros.fit.

What is stored

Your meals and the amounts you logged, workouts, weigh-ins, saved foods and meals, and your goals and body profile (age, height, weight, activity). Plus the name, email address and avatar Google gives us when you sign in, which is how your log is matched to you, and your time zone, so "today" means your today.

What is not stored

No passwords — Google handles sign-in, and we never see one. No payment details, because there is nothing to pay for. No precise location: the weather is resolved from your IP address to roughly a city, and that lookup is not recorded.

The ChatGPT plugin

If you connect easymacros to ChatGPT, it can read your days — foods with their amounts, calories and macros, workouts, weigh-ins and goals — and add or remove entries when you ask it to. It gets that access only after you sign in and press Allow, only for your own log, and through a key that expires within the hour and renews while you stay connected. What ChatGPT does with what it reads is covered by OpenAI's privacy policy. Food searches it makes also go to Open Food Facts, anonymously.

How long it is kept

Your log and profile are kept for as long as you have an account, and deleted in full when you ask us to remove it. For the ChatGPT plugin, we record which action ran (for example "log food"), when, whether it worked and how long it took — not what you logged — and delete those records after 90 days, along with the page-view counts. The plugin's access keys expire after an hour, and the key that renews them after 90 days without use. Database backups are kept for 14 days, so anything deleted is gone from those within two weeks.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Your log is not sold, shared, or used to train anything, and there are no ads. Visits to the site are counted twice over, and neither one can identify you: on our own server, which records the page, where the link came from and a daily one-way hash of your IP address and browser — no cookie, no IP kept, and unlinkable from one day to the next — and with DataFast, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that sees pages viewed and where visitors came from. Neither ever sees your log. Food searches go to Open Food Facts as an anonymous query with no account attached, and nothing you log is sent back to them.

Deleting it

To have your account and everything in it deleted, email support@easymacros.fit and it will be removed outright rather than flagged as inactive. Disconnecting the plugin in ChatGPT ends its access; email us and its keys are revoked on our side too.

This is not medical advice

Calorie and macro targets are population averages from a standard formula, not a measurement of you, and not clinical guidance. If you have a condition that makes diet or training risky, talk to someone qualified before acting on a number this app produced.
